Welcome to The Chequers Inn in the beautiful village of Lytchett Matravers, nestled in the heart of Dorset and surrounded by spectacular views and delightful English countryside. Vanessa and Tim would like to extend a very warm welcome to you.
We have a scrumptious new evening menu for you to try which is available Wednesday to Saturday, have a look on our menu page for a sample. We are also serving lunch Wednesday to Saturday 12-3pm with a range of sandwiches, starter dishes and burgers.
On Sundays we have our famous carvery which is available from 12pm - 6pm. With four roast meats to choose from, roast potatoes, stuffing balls, crackling, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and five more different vegetables on offer, you are sure to be able to fill your plate! It is advisable to book to make sure you aren't disappointed.
We also pride ourselves on serving great tasting beer, come and try for yourself!
